The heavens declare the glory of God, and on this day the heavens are preaching a sermon that the discerning must not miss. As the moon passes over the sun and the shadow moves across the land, the Spirit is not speaking of darkness. He is speaking of UNVEILING.
Understand the nature of an eclipse. The light does not go out — it is momentarily overshadowed so that something normally hidden by its brilliance can be seen. For a few sacred moments, the corona appears, things invisible become visible, and what was concealed is revealed. So it is in this season of the church.
The shadow is not the message. The shadow is the messenger. When it passes, what remains is light that was always there.
What the enemy intended as overshadowing, God is using as revelation. Hidden things are coming to light: hidden talents, hidden assignments, hidden agendas, and hidden treasures stored up in secret places. Do not fear the shadow. Position your heart to receive revelation. Keep a journal close. Pay attention to dreams in this season, for the Lord is drawing back the veil. What He reveals, He intends to use for His glory and your good.
